New York, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut and
Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Brandon Roy were named the Eastern and
Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending
March 14.
Bogut averaged a double-double for the week, scoring 19.3 points per game
while grabbing 13.7 rebounds. He also averaged a league-high 3.67 blocks for
the Bucks, who went 3-0 last week.
Roy, meanwhile, averaged 27.0 points on 56.7 percent shooting to help the
Trail Blazers win all four games last week.
Other nominees for the awards included Charlotte's Stephen Jackson,
Cleveland's LeBron James, Houston's Luis Scola, Orlando's Dwight Howard,
Phoenix's Amare Stoudemire and San Antonio's Manu Ginobili.
