Bullocks to a one-year tender offer on Thursday.
The 40th pick by New Orleans in the 2005 draft, Bullocks has recorded 327
tackles, six interceptions, 28 passes defensed, four forced fumbles and one
sack during his five-year NFL career, the first four of which came with the
Saints.
Last year with the Bears, Bullocks appeared in 12 games and logged 21 tackles.
The 6-foot-1, 207-pound Nebraska product has started 53 of 74 career games.

Josh Johnson won't be ready when the season starts April 2.
Grapefruit League action starts Wednesday, but Johnson, penciled in as the No. 2 starter, hasn't even thrown off a mound at full speed since September. He's experienced some soreness in his right forearm.

With Johnson's status doubtful, Gonzalez said right-hander Ricky Nolasco will stay in the rotation and no longer will be considered a candidate for closer.

Huskers' Lucky hospitalized for undisclosed reason
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska running back Marlon Lucky was hospitalized Monday for undisclosed reasons after Lincoln police responded to a call at his residence.
The Nebraska athletic department said in a release Monday that Lucky was admitted Sunday night.
