Tuscaloosa, AL (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Alabama has reinstated leading scorer and
rebounder JaMychal Green, who was suspended the last three games for violating
team rules.
The forward was cleared to return to practice, according to a press release
issued Monday.
Tony Mitchell, who was the team's second-leading scorer and rebounder, will
remain suspended for the rest of the season.
The Crimson Tide are 1-2 since Green was suspended February 11 for violating
team rules. Guards Trevor Releford and Andrew Steele were also suspended at
the same time, but both returned after a one-game absence.
Alabama had suspended Mitchell earlier that week.
Green is averaging 14.1 points and 7.2 rebounds in 20 games.
The Crimson Tide (17-9) play at Arkansas on Thursday. They are 6-6 in the SEC.
